Pete Medaugh, D.D.S.
Dr. Peter C. Medaugh has been practicing dentistry in the Arvada area since 1992, when he bought his current practice, Able Dentistry. His schooling was completed at the University of Colorado at Denver Dental School in 1990. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from CU-Boulder. When he graduated from Dental School, he started out his career by working as an associate at a dental practice in Denver. But after two years, he decided it was time for him to be on his own, which brought him to Arvada.
Dr. Medaugh is married to a wonderful woman named Stefanie, and they have two children, Brian and Rachel. As a family they enjoy many activities together such as skiing, fishing, boating, hunting, and Tae-kwon-do. One passion that Dr. Medaugh has that is all his own, is his 1991 Mustang. You can catch him working on this souped up racecar almost everyday in his garage. His goal for next year is to be in the mid to low “9’s” at Bandemier Speedway; with his current record being 9.95 seconds. You can do it Dr. Medaugh!
April and Veronica
When you enter our office, you will be welcomed by April and Veronica. They are our business administrators. Together they coordinate the scheduling of your appointments and the collection of your insurance and other payments. Combined, they have 18 years of dental experience. Veronica is currently taking courses at Front Range Community College to prepare her for applying to Dental Hygiene School. And as the mother of 3 boys ranging from toddler to teenager, April understands how you feel about wanting to be comfortable with the dental choices you make for yourself and your children. We all want you to feel informed about the decisions you make and they will help you to be comfortable as you schedule your appointments. They will make you feel right at home in our newly remodeled office.
Cheri and 
Anna
Anna and Cheri are our dental hygienists. Anna graduated from the Community College of Denver’s Dental Hygiene Program and Cheri completed her schooling at the University Colorado at Denver. When you’re lying in one of their chairs, you might hear about Cheri’s latest Blackhawk loss or who Anna schmoozed with at the Denver Nugget’s Party. They both have exciting stories to tell you while you are getting your teeth cleaned.
Denise and Lindsay
There may come a time when you will need treatment other than traditional teeth cleanings. This is when you will meet Denise and Lindsay. They are our dental assistants. Denise and Lindsay have each completed extra classes to teach them about expanded duty dental assisting, which allows them to help Dr. Medaugh with placement of fillings, and cementing permanent crown and bridgework. Together they will put you right at ease during your dental treatment. You may hear Denise talk about her sweet grandson who is 5 years old. Or you may find that Lindsay will talk your ears off telling all about her young daughter, and the milestones of her toddler son. No matter who you meet, you can be sure that you will get quality work done and be comfortable here at Able Dentistry.
Please help us in welcoming our new Dental Assistant and Associate Dentist to the practice! Elektra has been an assistant for 6 years, and she is integrating well into our office! She grew up in Wyoming and loves living in Denver. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her daughter and son, reading, swimming, and playing disc golf!
Dr. Jungsoo Byun is our new Associate Dentist. We have all taken to calling her Dr. Soo for short, and she likes the name! Dr. Soo grew up in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to the United States on her own when she was 19 years old for college. After finishing her Bachelor's degree and participating in a dental mission to Ecuador, she knew that the dental field was where her heart was. She recieved her DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She met her husband and started her family while still in dental school.
Dr. Soo and Dr. Medaugh share the same work ethic and philosophy for dentistry. They strive to keep things conservative and effective in dental recomendations. Dr. Soo likes to always keep The Golden Rule in mind, and "treat others as you like to be treated."
Make sure to say "Hello" and introduce yourself to both Elektra and Dr. Soo at your next visit to our growing office!
